Steve Borley
Traditional Learning Academy Vice-Principal
British Columbia, Canada
Steve has worked in the DL community since 2003 and in administration with TLA since 2012. He firmly believes that parents bear ultimate responsibility for children entrusted to them and as such need to be intimately involved in decision making. Parents didn't become parents so they could be antagonistic toward schools and the "momma-bear" syndrome is largely a learned response. Steve believes school staff (teachers, administrators, office and clerical) can go a long way towards creating community between home and school.
